Saitō's Torikae Baya manga ends, new Utena chapter debuts April 28

The January 2018 issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine revealed on Tuesday that Chiho Saitō will launch a new manga in the magazine's June issue on April 28. In addition, the issue published the final chapter of Saitō's Torikae Baya manga, and notes that the manga's 13th and final volume will ship on February 9.

The magazine also revealed that the second new chapter for Saitō's Revolutionary Girl Utena manga will debut in the magazine's March issue on January 27.

Saitō's Torikae Baya is set during the Heian era, and centers on the twin son and daughter of a court advisor. While the daughter Sarasōju excels at athletic and masculine activities, the son Suiren plays with dolls and does not enjoy other men's company. The twins switch identities before their ceremonial debut to high society.

Saitō launched the manga in Monthly Flowers in July 2012. Shogakukan published the manga's 12th volume on August 10.

Saito's Revolutionary Girl Utena manga debuted in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine beginning in 1996, and Shogakukan published the series in five compiled volumes. Viz Media licensed and sold the manga in North America, and recently released a collector's edition. Saitō drew a new chapter titled "Shōjo Kakumei Utena: After the Revolution," which appeared in Monthly Flowers on July 28.
