Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia, Frame Arms Girl Manga End

Next year's January issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comp Ace magazine published the final chapter of Tsuneo Tsuneishi's Frame Arms Girl Lab Days on Saturday. In addition, it published the first half of the final chapter of Riku Ayakawa's Hybrid×Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia manga.

Tsuneishi launched Frame Arms Girl Lab Days in Comp Ace with editorial cooperation from the anime's writer Deko Akao in December 2016. Kadokawa published the first compiled volume in April. Comp Ace asked readers to expects Tsuneishi's next work.

Kotobukiya's Frame Arms models are a line of plastic robot model kits designed by mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse). The new FRAMe Arms Girl line, introduced in 2015, introduces new designs by Humikane Shimada (Strike Witches, Girls und Panzer character designs), featuring robots from the original Frame Arms line portrayed as girls. The first model in the line, Gourai, is based on Yanase's robot design with the same name.

The Frame Arms inspired a short anime bundled with the Frame Arms Versus Set Zelfikar vs. Hresvelgr=Ater kit in May 2015, followed by a full television anime beginning this past April. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series and streamed it on Anime Network Online as it aired.

Ayakawa began the manga adaptation of Masamune Kuji's Hybrid×Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia (Masō Gakuen H×H) light novel series in Comp Ace in June 2015, and Kadokawa published the third volume in March. Yen Press licensed the manga and released the first volume in October.

The light novel series centers around Kizuna Hida, who visits the strategic defense academy Ataraxia at his big sister's request. "There, he encounters Aine Chidorigafuchi, a girl piloting the magical armor Zerosu. Aine suddenly pulls off her clothes before Kizuna's eyes. 'Don't look, you pervert—' 'No, you're the one!?' However, a communique about a serious mission arrives from Kizuna's sister. The mission — to rub Aina's chest!? Actually, Kizuna has the power to level up a girl through indecent acts. With a battle against another world, the future depends on this power."

A television anime adaptation premiered in July 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. FUNimation Entertainment planned to release the series on home video in 2017, but cancelled the release and said it would update on a distribution plan for 2018.
