Natsume Ono to Publish New ACCA 13 Spinoff Volume

Story tells of two daughters from rival families

This year's 11th issue of Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine announced on Wednesday that Natsume Ono is drawing a new ACCA 13 side story manga titled Paula to Michel (Paula and Michel). The manga will get a single-volume, 239-page release on December 25.

Ono explained that she conceived the story in February while finishing the fourth chapter of ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka P.S.. The manga will tell the story of two rival Jumoku families and their daughters who are the same age.

Ono launched the original ACCA 13 manga series in Monthly Big Gangan magazine in June 2013 and ended it last October. She then launched the ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka P.S. spinoff manga in December, and ended it in this Wednesday's issue of Big Gangan.

Yen Press licensed the manga for release in North America.

The manga inspired a television anime that premiered in January.

The manga is set in a world separated into 13 wards, with each ward having an observation division controlled by the organization known as "ACCA." The story centers on Jean, known as the craftiest member of ACCA.
