La Corda D'Oro 2ff PS Vita Game's Video Previews Theme Song

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Remake arrives on December 21

The official YouTube channel of Koei Tecmo Games' Ruby Party brand began streaming the second promotional video on Monday for Kin-iro no Corda 2ff (La Corda D'Oro 2 Fortissimo) for the PlayStation Vita. The game is a remake of the original Kin-iro no Corda 2f (La Corda D'Oro 2 Forte) PlayStation Portable game. The video previews the game's theme song "forever forever" by stella quintet.

The game will feature scenarios from both Kin-iro no Corda 2 and Kin-iro no Corda 2f, and will also be fully voiced. Koei Tecmo Games will release the game on the PS Vita on December 21. The download and physical edition of the game will both retail for 6,800 yen (about US$60). The game will also have two special editions.

Ruby Party released the Kin-iro no Corda 2 game on the PlayStation 2 in March 2007, and the Kin-iro no Corda 2 Encore game for the same console in September of the same year. The company then released Kin-iro no Corda 2f on the PSP in February 2009, and Kin-iro no Corda 2f Encore later that same year for the same system.

The most recent game in the franchise, the La Corda d'Oro 4 PlayStation Vita dating simulation game, shipped in Japan in March 2016. The game continued the story from the previous La Corda D'Oro 3 game. Ruby Party is also releasing the La Corda D'Oro Octave smartphone game this year.

The La Corda D'Oro game franchise inspired a 26-episode television anime series in 2006, and a two-episode television special sequel, La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~, aired in spring of 2009. A third anime, La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky, premiered in 2014 and ran for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed all three anime and Sentai Filmworks released La Corda D'Oro and La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky in North America.
