Sengoku Night Blood Anime's Promo Video Reveals October 3 Debut

The official website for the television anime of Marvelous, Kadokawa, and Otomate's Sengoku Night Blood smartphone game began streaming a promotional video for the anime on Wednesday. The video reveals the anime's October 3 premiere date.

The anime will premiere on October 3 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11.

The iOS and Android game launched in Japan on May 30. The game centers around different warlords from Japan's Warring States (Sengoku) period, who are all involved with the player character. The game is described as a "Warring States romance fantasy." Each of the six factions in the game feature a different Otomate artist.

Katsuya Kikuchi (The Royal Tutor) is directing the anime at Typhoon Graphics (One Room, Room Mate) with series composition by Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri, Orange). Sei Komatsubara, Reina Okuyama, and Chisato Nakata are adapting the character designs for animation. Naoyuki Horiko is composing the music. Other staff members include:
