Crunchyroll Expo to Host Code Vein Game Director, Producer

Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will host Code Vein director Hiroshi Yoshimura and producer Keita Iizuka at its Crunchyroll Expo event. In addition, it announced that it will host author and journalist Roland Kelts and actress and cosplayer Mica Burton.

Yoshimura joined the Tales of Legendia team at Namco as lead battle designer in 2003, and he established the God Eater project in 2007 as director.

Iizuka initially joined Bandai Namco Networks to work on mobile games in 2007, and he started serving as producer for console games as well in 2009.

Bandai Namco Entertainment plans to release Code Vein post-apocalyptic RPG in 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Crunchyroll announced its plan to have its own convention after reaching 1 million subscribers in February. Crunchyroll Expo will be held on August 25-27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. Other announced guests include illustrator Yoshitaka Amano, animator Hiroshi Shimizu, figure skater Johnny Weir, manga creator Kore Yamazaki, writer Keiichi Sigsawa, voice actors Hiromi Igarashi and Shun Horie, Frederator Networks founder Fred Seibert, Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom creator Butch Hartman, MythBusters host Adam Savage, Powerhouse Animation CEO Brad Graeber and director Sam Deats from Netflix's Castlevania, and illustrator Mugi Tanaka and director Amika Kubo from the upcoming Urahara television anime.
