Detective Conan Appears on Cover of Sho-Comi Magazine

This year's eighth issue of Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine features a familiar face on the cover. The titular character of Gōshō Aoyama's Detective Conan manga appears on the cover in front of with the lead characters from Onimiya-sensei no Kiss ni wa Sakaraenai (My lover is sweet Demon) by Kayoru.

The issue is also bundling clear files and a special collaboration booklet with artwork by the magazine's manga artists. A total of 23 artists participated in the book. It also includes comments by Aoyama and a sample Detective Conan manga chapter.

The next issue of Sho-Comi will include further collaborations with Detective Conan. The anime is continuing its 20th anniversary celebrations with Universal Studios Japan, the Monster Hunter XX game, and unique gravure photo shoots. The franchise's 21st film Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter opens in Japan on April 15.
