Code Geass Celebrates 10 Years on November 27

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

This October will mark 10 years since audiences were introduced to Lelouch and The Empire of Britannia. The staff behind the series are taking note of the occasion with a special 10th anniversary website and a special event at the Maihama Amphitheatre in Chiba on November 27. The "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Anniversary of a Miracle" event is the first in a series of 10th anniversary celebrations.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion premiered in 2006 followed by the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 television anime in 2008. The series inspired several spin-off manga, the Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland original video anime, and most recently the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled original video anime.

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled will get its U.S. premiere at the Otakon convention in Maryland on Sunday, August 14 at 10:15 a.m. EDT. Director Kazuki Akane and producer Yoshitaka Kawaguchi will attend the screening and will hold a Q&A session.
