Aya Uchida Voices Idol Version of Umi Monogatari Character in Animated Music Video

The character Marin from Sanyo Bussan's Umi Monogatari pachinko franchise has lately been breaking into the music industry as the idol "iMarine." This Monday she launched an animated music video for her new song "Dive to Blue." Aya Uchida of Love Live! fame voiced iMarine for the song.
Yuta Kubota (Ping Pong, BBK/BBNK episode director), also known as kubotabee, directed the animation and Tamaya 2060% (Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi!+) composed the track. The video tells a story starring iMarine and an ordinary high school girl named Umiko.
The project also released a "making of" version and an video with the song's choreography by Yumiko. The latter video features dancers Rin Shiono and Maris.
The iMarine Project launched in February 2015 and iMarine starred in her first music video in April 2015. Kano provided iMarine's vocals for the first song "Marine Dreamin'" and second song "Marine Bloomin'."
The Umi Monogatari pachinko series inspired a television anime in 2009. Kana Asumi voiced the character in the anime.
