Idolish 7 Perform 'RESTART POiNTER' in Animated Music Video

Idolish 7, Bandai Namco's fictional male idol group, are starring in a CG-animated music video to their track "RESTART POiNTER." The music video premiered on Thursday and the track is one of the songs included in the group's upcoming full-length album i7.

The multimedia project is celebrating its one-year anniversary with the release of i7 on August 24, Idolish 7-themed cafes, and an Ichiban Kuji lottery.

The album will contain 12 songs and come in three different editions: a standard edition for 3,000 yen (or $27); a limited first edition including a "photo book" with pictures "taken" by Kasumi Fukagawa for 3,500 yen (or $32); and a deluxe edition including the artbook and a concert equipment box (glowstick, scarf/towel, and badges) for 7,777 yen (or $71). The track list includes:

The members of Idolish 7 are: Toshiki Masuda as Iori Izumi, Yusuke Shirai as Yamato Nikaidou, Tsubasa Yonaga as Mitsuki Izumi, KENN as Tamaki Yotsuba, Atsushi Abe as Sogo Ohsaka, Takuya Eguchi as Nagi Rokuya, and Kenshō Ono as Riku Nanase. The members of rival Trigger idol group are Gaku Yaotome (Wataru Hatano), Ten Kujō (Sōma Saitō), and Ryūnosuke Tsunashi (Takuya Satou).

The idol group's "MEMORiES MELODiES" and "Monster Generation" tracks and their rival group Trigger's track "Leopard Eyes" were also animated.

The franchise's newest characters, Momo (voiced by Sōichiro Hoshi) and Yuki (voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana) of the unit Re:vale are releasing their newest single "SILVER SKY" on June 22. It also includes the track "Dis one" and jacket art drawn by the project's original character designer Arina Tanemura and Kazumi Fukagawa.
